ततो हृष्टमना भूत्वा गृहीत्वा तां चतुर्मुखः । पुनर्वर्षसहस्रांते भूमिपृष्ठमुपागतः । दर्शयामास तां विष्णोरेषा लिंगस्य मूर्धतः

Transliteration

tato hṛṣṭamanā bhūtvā gṛhītvā tāṃ caturmukhaḥ | punarvarṣasahasrāṃte bhūmipṛṣṭhamupāgataḥ | darśayāmāsa tāṃ viṣṇoreṣā liṃgasya mūrdhataḥ

Translation

அப்போது நான்முகப் பிரம்மா மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் அந்த (மலரை) எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகள் கழித்து மீண்டும் பூமியின் மேற்பரப்பை அடைந்தான். விஷ்ணுவிடம் காட்டி—“இது லிங்கத்தின் உச்சியிலிருந்து” என்றான்.
