ययातिरुवाच । किमर्थं भगवन्वह्निः पुरा नष्टो द्विजोत्तम । कथं तत्रैव लब्धस्तु कौतुकं मे महामुने
yayātiruvāca | kimarthaṃ bhagavanvahniḥ purā naṣṭo dvijottama | kathaṃ tatraiva labdhastu kautukaṃ me mahāmune
யயாதி கூறினார்: ஓ பகவானே! அந்தணர்களில் சிறந்தவரே! பழங்காலத்தில் அக்னி தேவன் எதற்காக மறைந்தார்? அவர் அங்கே மீண்டும் எவ்வாறு கிடைத்தார்? ஓ மாமுனிவரே, எனக்கு இது பற்றி அறிய ஆவலாக உள்ளது.
