स्तनं धयन्तीं सुस्निग्धां शिशोः क्षीरानुरागिणः । सा तेन विद्धा बाणेन सहसा नतपर्वणा
stanaṃ dhayantīṃ susnigdhāṃ śiśoḥ kṣīrānurāgiṇaḥ | sā tena viddhā bāṇena sahasā nataparvaṇā
அவள் மிகுந்த பாசத்துடன் தன் குட்டிக்கு பாலூட்டிக் கொண்டிருந்தாள்; குட்டி தாய்ப்பாலில் ஆசை கொண்டது. அச்சமயம் அவனுடைய வளைந்த மூட்டு கொண்ட அம்பால் அவள் திடீரென குத்துண்டாள்.
