शुभ्रं कोटिगुणं प्राज्यं ततस्तुष्टिं समागतः । ज्ञात्वा तीर्थप्रभावं तं ब्राह्मणेभ्यः सहस्रशः । प्रददौ च दयायुक्त उद्दिश्य पितृदेवताः
śubhraṃ koṭiguṇaṃ prājyaṃ tatastuṣṭiṃ samāgataḥ | jñātvā tīrthaprabhāvaṃ taṃ brāhmaṇebhyaḥ sahasraśaḥ | pradadau ca dayāyukta uddiśya pitṛdevatāḥ
அந்தத் தங்கம் தூய்மையானது; கோடிமடங்கு பெருகி மிகுந்த செல்வமாக இருந்தது; ஆகவே அவன் மனநிறைவு அடைந்தான். அந்தத் தீர்த்தத்தின் மகிமையை அறிந்து, கருணையுடன், பித்ரு தேவதைகளை நோக்கி பிராமணர்களுக்கு ஆயிரக்கணக்கில் தானம் வழங்கினான்.
