अहमत्र महाष्टम्यां निवेक्ष्यामि महामते । ये च स्नानं करिष्यंति संप्राप्ते चाष्टमीदिने । ते यास्यंति परं स्थानं यत्राहं नित्यसंस्थितः

Transliteration

ahamatra mahāṣṭamyāṃ nivekṣyāmi mahāmate | ye ca snānaṃ kariṣyaṃti saṃprāpte cāṣṭamīdine | te yāsyaṃti paraṃ sthānaṃ yatrāhaṃ nityasaṃsthitaḥ

Translation

ஓ மஹாமதியே, மஹாஷ்டமி நாளில் நான் இங்கே இருப்பேன். அஷ்டமி நாள் வந்தபோது இங்கே நீராடுவோர், நான் நித்தியமாக உறையும் பரம பதத்தை அடைவர்.
