पुलस्त्य उवाच । तेषां तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा संचिंत्य सुचिरं तदा । मुक्त्वा स्वे पादुके तत्र कृत्वा चाश्मसमुद्भवे । देवानुवाच राजेंद्र सर्वानर्त्तिमुपागतान्
pulastya uvāca | teṣāṃ tadvacanaṃ śrutvā saṃciṃtya suciraṃ tadā | muktvā sve pāduke tatra kṛtvā cāśmasamudbhave | devānuvāca rājeṃdra sarvānarttimupāgatān
புலஸ்த்யர் கூறினார்—அவர்களின் சொற்களை கேட்டவுடன் அவள் நீண்ட நேரம் சிந்தித்தாள். பின்னர் தன் பாதுகைகளை அங்கே விட்டுவிட்டு, பாறையிலிருந்து எழுந்த பீடத்தில் அவற்றை நிறுவி, அரசே, துயருற்ற எல்லா தேவர்களையும் நோக்கி உரைத்தாள்.
