बाष्कलिरुवाच । गच्छ दूतवर ब्रूहि श्रीमातां चारुहासिनीम् । भार्या मे भव सुश्रोणि अहं ते वशगः सदा
bāṣkaliruvāca | gaccha dūtavara brūhi śrīmātāṃ cāruhāsinīm | bhāryā me bhava suśroṇi ahaṃ te vaśagaḥ sadā
பாஷ்கலி கூறினான்—தூதர்களில் சிறந்தவனே, சென்று அழகிய புன்னகையுடைய ஸ்ரீமாதாவிடம் சொல்—‘நல்ல இடையுடையவளே, நீ என் மனைவியாகு; நான் எப்போதும் உன் ஆளுகைக்குள் இருப்பேன்।’
