न तं विसर्जयामास जरयापि परिप्लुतम् । उत्तंकोऽपि सुशिष्यत्वान्नो वेत्ति पलितं शिरः
na taṃ visarjayāmāsa jarayāpi pariplutam | uttaṃko'pi suśiṣyatvānno vetti palitaṃ śiraḥ
முதுமையால் ஆட்கொள்ளப்பட்டிருந்த போதிலும் அவரை அவர் விடைபெறச் செய்யவில்லை; உத்தங்கனும் சிறந்த சீடநெறியால் அவரது தலையிலுள்ள நரைமுடியையும் கவனிக்கவில்லை।
