इत्युक्तो गुरुणा सोऽपि मातरं चाभ्यभाषत । किंचिद्ग्राह्यं मया मातः सन्तोषो दीयतां मम
ityukto guruṇā so'pi mātaraṃ cābhyabhāṣata | kiṃcidgrāhyaṃ mayā mātaḥ santoṣo dīyatāṃ mama
குருவின் சொல் கேட்ட அவன் குருபத்னியிடம் கூறினான்—அம்மா, என்னிடமிருந்து ஏதாவது ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; என் உள்ளத்திற்கு திருப்தி அருளுங்கள்.
