चितिं कृत्वा समं तेन ज्वालयामास पावकम् । अथ ते मुनयो दृष्ट्वा तथाशीलां शुभांगनाम्

Transliteration

citiṃ kṛtvā samaṃ tena jvālayāmāsa pāvakam | atha te munayo dṛṣṭvā tathāśīlāṃ śubhāṃganām

Translation

அவனுக்குச் சமமான சிதையை அமைத்து அவள் தீயை மூட்டினாள். அப்போது அந்த முனிவர்கள் அத்தகைய உறுதியான நற்குணமுடைய சுபாங்கினியைப் பார்த்து கவலையுடன் நோக்கினர்.
