इंद्र उवाच । वरं वरय भद्रं ते राजन्यन्मनसीप्सितम् । त्वां दृष्ट्वा भक्तिसंयुक्तमागतोऽहमसंशयम्
iṃdra uvāca | varaṃ varaya bhadraṃ te rājanyanmanasīpsitam | tvāṃ dṛṣṭvā bhaktisaṃyuktamāgato'hamasaṃśayam
இந்திரன் கூறினான்— “அரசே, உனக்கு மங்களம் உண்டாகுக! உன் மனம் விரும்பும் வரத்தை வேண்டிக் கொள். உன்னை பக்தியுடன் கூடியவனாகக் கண்டு, நிச்சயமாக நான் இங்கு வந்தேன்।”
