krīḍārthaṃ parvataśreṣṭhe tāṃ dadarśa śubhekṣaṇām | tataḥ kāmaśarairviddhastāmuvāca sumadhyamām

விளையாட்டிற்காக அந்தச் சிறந்த மலையில் வந்து, நல்விழியாளான அவளை அவன் கண்டான். பின்னர் காமத்தின் அம்புகளால் குத்தப்பட்டவனாய், அந்த மெல்இடையாளிடம் பேசினான்.
