उपवासपरो भूत्वा यश्चैनां पूजयिष्यति । आश्विनस्यासिते पक्षे चतुर्दश्यां विशेषतः
upavāsaparo bhūtvā yaścaināṃ pūjayiṣyati | āśvinasyāsite pakṣe caturdaśyāṃ viśeṣataḥ
உபவாசத்தில் நிலைத்து இந்த தேவியை வழிபடுவோர்—விசேஷமாக ஆவினி மாதக் கிருஷ்ணபட்ச சதுர்தசியன்று—மிகுந்த புண்ணியத்தை அடைவர்।
