देवा ऊचुः । विपरीतापि ते जिह्वा यथान्येषां गजोत्तम । कार्यक्षमा न संदेहो भविष्यति विशेषतः
devā ūcuḥ | viparītāpi te jihvā yathānyeṣāṃ gajottama | kāryakṣamā na saṃdeho bhaviṣyati viśeṣataḥ
தேவர்கள் கூறினர்—யானைகளில் சிறந்தவனே! உன் நாவு புரட்டப்பட்டிருந்தாலும், பிறருடையதைப் போலவே அது தன் பணிக்குத் தகுதியானதாக இருக்கும்; இதில் சிறிதும் சந்தேகம் இல்லை.
