तच्छ्रुत्वा ते सुराः सर्वे सर्वतस्तं जलाशयम् । वेष्टयित्वा स्थितास्तत्र वह्निर्भेकं शशाप ह
tacchrutvā te surāḥ sarve sarvatastaṃ jalāśayam | veṣṭayitvā sthitāstatra vahnirbhekaṃ śaśāpa ha
அதைக் கேட்ட அனைத்து தேவர்களும் அந்த நீர்த்தடாகத்தை எல்லாப் புறங்களிலும் சூழ்ந்து அங்கே நின்றனர்; அப்போது அக்னி தவளைக்கு சாபம் அளித்தான்.
