एवं सा यौवनोपेता तथा दुःखसमन्विता । न कश्चिद्वरयामास वाजिवक्त्रां विलोक्य ताम्
evaṃ sā yauvanopetā tathā duḥkhasamanvitā | na kaścidvarayāmāsa vājivaktrāṃ vilokya tām
இவ்வாறு அவள் யௌவனத்தை அடைந்தபோதும் துயரால் நிறைந்திருந்தாள்; அவளின் அச்வமுகத் தோற்றத்தைப் பார்த்து யாரும் அவளை மணம் செய்யத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கவில்லை.
