garuḍa uvāca | tava tejobhayādeva sā kanyā janakānvitā | mayā dūre vinirmuktā tatkathaṃ tāmihānaye

கருடன் கூறினான்—உமது தேஜஸின் அச்சத்தினாலேயே அந்தக் கன்னியை அவள் தந்தையுடன் நான் தொலைவில் விடுவித்தேன்; அப்படியிருக்க அவளை இங்கே எவ்வாறு கொண்டு வருவேன்?
