मुनय ऊचुः । कथं तस्य गतौ पक्षौ गरुडस्य महात्मनः । पुनर्लब्धौ कथं तेन कथं तुष्टो महेश्वरः । एतन्नो विस्तराद्ब्रूहि सूतपुत्र यथातथम्
munaya ūcuḥ | kathaṃ tasya gatau pakṣau garuḍasya mahātmanaḥ | punarlabdhau kathaṃ tena kathaṃ tuṣṭo maheśvaraḥ | etanno vistarādbrūhi sūtaputra yathātatham
முனிவர்கள் கூறினர்—மகாத்மா கருடனின் இறக்கைகள் எவ்வாறு போயின? அவன் அவற்றை மீண்டும் எவ்வாறு பெற்றான்? மேலும் மகேஸ்வரன் எவ்வாறு திருப்தியடைந்தான்? ஓ சூதபுத்திரா, நடந்ததை நடந்தபடியே விரிவாகச் சொல்வாயாக.
