एवं तस्य व्रतस्थस्य जग्मुर्वर्षशतानि च । तत्र भीतास्ततो देवा ब्रह्मविष्णुपुरःसराः
evaṃ tasya vratasthasya jagmurvarṣaśatāni ca | tatra bhītāstato devā brahmaviṣṇupuraḥsarāḥ
இவ்வாறு விரதத்தில் நிலைத்திருந்த அவனுக்குச் நூற்றாண்டுகள் கடந்தன. அப்போது பிரம்மா, விஷ்ணு முன்னணியில் தேவர்கள் அந்தத் தவத்தால் அஞ்சினர்.
