इन्द्र उवाच । जानाम्यहं चतुर्वक्त्र स्वं कायं पापसंयुतम् । चिह्नैर्ब्रह्मवधोद्भूतैस्तस्माच्छुद्धिं वदस्व मे
indra uvāca | jānāmyahaṃ caturvaktra svaṃ kāyaṃ pāpasaṃyutam | cihnairbrahmavadhodbhūtaistasmācchuddhiṃ vadasva me
இந்திரன் கூறினான்—ஹே நான்முகனே! என் உடல் பாவத்தால் மாசடைந்தது; பிரம்மவதத்தால் உண்டான குறிகளால் குறியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது என்பதை நான் அறிவேன். ஆகவே எனக்கு சுத்தியின் வழியைச் சொல்வாயாக।
