सुशीघ्रमभिधावन्तं निजं कर्मानुधावति । शेते सह शयानेन तिष्ठन्तमनुतिष्ठति
suśīghramabhidhāvantaṃ nijaṃ karmānudhāvati | śete saha śayānena tiṣṭhantamanutiṣṭhati
மனிதன் எவ்வளவு விரைவாக ஓடினாலும், அவனுடைய சொந்த கர்மம் அவனை மிகச் சீக்கிரம் பின்தொடர்கிறது. அவன் படுத்தால் அது கூட உடன் படுக்கும்; அவன் நின்றால் அது கூட அருகில் நிற்கும்.
