ततः सर्वान्समाहूय स विप्रान्पुरसंभवान् । प्रोवाच कौरवो भीष्मो विनयावनतः स्थितः
tataḥ sarvānsamāhūya sa viprānpurasaṃbhavān | provāca kauravo bhīṣmo vinayāvanataḥ sthitaḥ
பின்னர் அவன் நகரத்தில் உள்ள எல்லா பிராமணர்களையும் அழைத்தான். அதன் பின் பணிவுடன் தலைவணங்கி, மரியாதையுடன் நின்ற கௌரவர் பீஷ்மன் அவர்களிடம் உரைத்தான்.
