triveṇī vahate tasyāḥ purato bhuktimuktidā | tasyāmupari dagdhānāṃ brāhmaṇānāṃ viśeṣataḥ

அவளின் முன்னே திரிவேணி ஓடுகிறது; அது போகமும் மோக்ஷமும் இரண்டையும் அருள்வது; குறிப்பாக அவள் கரையில் தகனம் செய்யப்பட்ட பிராமணர்களுக்காக (இப்பலன் உரைக்கப்படுகிறது).
