नंदिन्युवाच । अहं गता महारण्ये ह्यद्य पुत्र यथेच्छया । व्याघ्रेणासादिता तत्र भ्रममाणा इतस्ततः
naṃdinyuvāca | ahaṃ gatā mahāraṇye hyadya putra yathecchayā | vyāghreṇāsāditā tatra bhramamāṇā itastataḥ
நந்தினி கூறினாள்—மகனே, இன்று நான் விருப்பம்போல் பெரிய காட்டிற்குச் சென்றேன். அங்கே இங்கும் அங்கும் அலைந்தபோது ஒரு புலி என்னை எதிர்கொண்டது.
