सूत उवाच । सोऽपि तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा पीत्वा क्षीरं यथोचितम् । आघ्रातश्च तया मूर्ध्नि ततः प्रोवाच सत्वरम्
sūta uvāca | so'pi tadvacanaṃ śrutvā pītvā kṣīraṃ yathocitam | āghrātaśca tayā mūrdhni tataḥ provāca satvaram
சூதர் கூறினார்—அவளுடைய சொற்களை கேட்ட அவனும் முறையாகப் பாலை அருந்தினான். பின்னர் அவள் அன்புடன் அவன் தலையை நுகர்ந்து (முத்தமிட்டு), அவன் உடனே பேசினான்.
