tava kṣutkṣāmakaṇṭhasya mayā bhaktiḥ kṛtā mune | yathāsiddhena bhojyena tatkasmācchaptumudyataḥ

ஓ முனிவரே! பசியால் வறண்ட உங்கள் தொண்டையைப் பார்த்து நான் பக்தியுடன் பணிவிடை செய்து, கிடைத்ததைப் போலவே உணவை அர்ப்பணித்தேன்; அப்படியிருக்க நீங்கள் என்னை சபிக்க ஏன் முனைகிறீர்கள்?
