सूत उवाच । तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा विश्वामित्रो मुनीश्वरः । वसिष्ठस्पर्धयोवाच मुनिमध्ये व्यवस्थितः
sūta uvāca | tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā viśvāmitro munīśvaraḥ | vasiṣṭhaspardhayovāca munimadhye vyavasthitaḥ
சூதர் கூறினார்—அவனது சொற்களை கேட்ட மునீஸ்வரன் விஸ்வாமித்ரர், வசிஷ்டருடன் போட்டியால் தூண்டப்பட்டு, முனிவர்கள் நடுவே நின்று உரைத்தார்.
