asthiśeṣā nirutsāhāstyaktadharmavratakriyāḥ | abhakṣyabhakṣaṇaparāstathaivāpeyapāyinaḥ

அவர்கள் எலும்பே மிச்சமாய், உற்சாகமின்றி, தர்மம், விரதம், நித்யக் கிரியைகளை விட்டனர். உண்ணத் தகாததை உண்டனர்; குடிக்கத் தகாததையும் குடித்தனர்.
