பின்னர் அவன் பகல்-இரவு சோர்வின்றி ஆராதனை செய்தான்; பலி, பூஜை-உபஹாரங்கள், தான-அர்ப்பணங்கள், மேலும் பாடல், வாத்தியம் முதலிய பக்தி ஒழுக்கங்களால் (சிவனை) திருப்திப்படுத்தினான்।
