हंस उवाच । अपत्यार्थं समारंभो मयाऽद्य विहितः पुरा । तस्मात्त्वं देहि मे पुत्रान्वंशोद्धारक्ष मान्विभो
haṃsa uvāca | apatyārthaṃ samāraṃbho mayā'dya vihitaḥ purā | tasmāttvaṃ dehi me putrānvaṃśoddhārakṣa mānvibho
ஹம்ஸன் கூறினான்—மகப்பேறு வேண்டி நான் முன்பே இந்த விரதத்தைத் தொடங்கினேன். ஆகவே, எங்கும் நிறைந்த ஆண்டவனே, என் குலத்தை உயர்த்தி காக்கும் புதல்வர்களை எனக்குத் தாரும்.
