क्व गतासि विशालाक्षि विजनेऽस्मिन्विहाय माम् । नाहं गृहं गमिष्यामि मम दुःखाय निर्दयः
kva gatāsi viśālākṣi vijane'sminvihāya mām | nāhaṃ gṛhaṃ gamiṣyāmi mama duḥkhāya nirdayaḥ
ஓ விசாலநேத்திரி! இந்த வெறிச்சோடிய இடத்தில் என்னை விட்டுவிட்டு நீ எங்கே சென்றாய்? நான் வீட்டிற்குத் திரும்பமாட்டேன்; கொடிய விதி எனக்கு துயரமே அளித்தது.
