व्रतत्यागान्न संदेहस्तत्र ते नास्ति किंचन । प्रायश्चित्तं मया सम्यक्स्मृतिमार्गेण चिंतितम्
vratatyāgānna saṃdehastatra te nāsti kiṃcana | prāyaścittaṃ mayā samyaksmṛtimārgeṇa ciṃtitam
வ்ரதத்தை விட்டதால் குற்றம் உண்டாகும்—இதில் ஐயமில்லை; உனக்குப் இதில் எதுவும் குழப்பமில்லை. ஸ்மிருதிகளின் வழிப்படி உரிய பிராயச்சித்தத்தை நான் நன்கு சிந்தித்துள்ளேன்.
