पश्चान्नाशं समभ्येति यावत्तावच्छनैःशनैः । प्रमाणं तस्य निर्दिष्टं लक्षाश्चत्वार एव हि
paścānnāśaṃ samabhyeti yāvattāvacchanaiḥśanaiḥ | pramāṇaṃ tasya nirdiṣṭaṃ lakṣāścatvāra eva hi
பின்னர் அது மெதுவாக மெதுவாக, சிறிது சிறிதாக, அழிவை நோக்கிச் செல்கிறது; அதன் அளவு துல்லியமாக நான்கு லட்சம் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது।
