अथ पप्रच्छ लोकान्स किमेतन्नगरं स्मृतम् । कोऽयं देशः कोऽत्र राजा किं पुरं नगरं च किम्
atha papraccha lokānsa kimetannagaraṃ smṛtam | ko'yaṃ deśaḥ ko'tra rājā kiṃ puraṃ nagaraṃ ca kim
பின்னர் அவர் மக்களிடம் கேட்டான்—“இந்த நகரம் என்ன பெயரால் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது? இது எந்த நாடு? இங்கே அரசன் யார்? ‘புரம்’ என்பது என்ன, ‘நகரம்’ என்பது என்ன?”
