dvātriṃśacca sahasrāṇi varṣāṇāṃ kathitaṃ vibho | tathā lakṣacatuṣkeṇa sādhulokavivarjitam

Translation

விபுவே! கலியுகத்தின் அளவு முப்பத்திரண்டு ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகள் எனக் கூறப்படுகிறது; மேலும் நான்கு லட்சம் (ஆண்டுகள்) சேர்ந்து—இது சாதுமக்களின் சங்கமம் இன்றிய யுகம் என வர்ணிக்கப்படுகிறது।
