वृत्रोऽपि तं समालोक्य स्वयं प्राप्तं बृहस्पतिम् । सदैव द्विजभक्तः स हृष्टात्मा समपद्यत । विशेषात्प्रणिपत्योच्चैर्वाक्यमेतदभाषत
vṛtro'pi taṃ samālokya svayaṃ prāptaṃ bṛhaspatim | sadaiva dvijabhaktaḥ sa hṛṣṭātmā samapadyata | viśeṣātpraṇipatyoccairvākyametadabhāṣata
விருத்திரன் தானே வந்த ப்ருஹஸ்பதியைப் பார்த்து உள்ளம் மகிழ்ந்தான்; ஏனெனில் அவன் எப்போதும் பிராமணபக்தன். சிறப்பு மரியாதையுடன் வணங்கி, உரத்த குரலில் இவ்வார்த்தைகளைச் சொன்னான்.
