तस्य तुष्टः स्वयं ब्रह्मा दृष्टिगोचरमागतः । प्रोवाच वरदोऽस्मीति किं ते कृत्यं करोम्यहम्
tasya tuṣṭaḥ svayaṃ brahmā dṛṣṭigocaramāgataḥ | provāca varado'smīti kiṃ te kṛtyaṃ karomyaham
அவன்மேல் மகிழ்ந்து, தாமே பிரம்மா கண்முன் தோன்றி, “நான் வரம் அளிப்பவன்; உனக்காக எந்தக் காரியத்தைச் செய்வேன்?” என்றார்.
