Transliteration

tanmadhye suśubhaṃ kāṣṭhaṃ staṃbhajātyaṃ dṛḍhaṃ nyaset | candanaḥ khadiro vātha bilvovā'śvattha eva vā

Translation

அவற்றின் நடுவில் தூணுக்குத் தகுந்த உறுதியான அழகிய மரத்துண்டை உறுதியாக நிறுவ வேண்டும்—சந்தனம், கதீர், பில்வம் அல்லது அஸ்வத்தம் ஆகியவற்றில் எதுவாயினும் ஆகலாம்.
