etadeva paraṃ brahma dvādaśākṣararūpadhṛk | mayā prakāśitaṃ devi skande hi vimalaṃ tava

இதுவே பரம்பிரஹ்மம்; அது பன்னிரண்டு எழுத்து ரூபத்தைத் தாங்கியது. தேவி, உன் பொருட்டு ஸ்கந்த பரம்பரையில் இதை நான் தூய்மையாக வெளிப்படுத்தினேன்.
