श्यामलं च उपस्थं च रूपातीतान्नराः शिवम् । हृदिस्थं सिरशिस्थं च द्वयं बद्धविमुक्तये
śyāmalaṃ ca upasthaṃ ca rūpātītānnarāḥ śivam | hṛdisthaṃ siraśisthaṃ ca dvayaṃ baddhavimuktaye
உருவத்தைக் கடந்த சிவனை மக்கள் நாடுகின்றனர்—உள்ளுறையும் ஷ்யாமலத் தன்மையிலும், உபஸ்தத்தில் நிலையும் சக்தி-நிலையிலும். கட்டுண்டோரின் விடுதலைக்காக அவர்கள் இருவகை இருப்பைத் தியானிக்கின்றனர்—இதயத்தில் உறையும் சிவன், சிரத்தில் உறையும் சிவன்.
