गालव उवाच । इति ते कथितं सर्वं शालग्रामकथानकम् । महेश्वरस्य चोत्पत्तिर्यथा लिंगत्वमाप सः
gālava uvāca | iti te kathitaṃ sarvaṃ śālagrāmakathānakam | maheśvarasya cotpattiryathā liṃgatvamāpa saḥ
காலவனார் கூறினார்—இவ்வாறு உமக்கு சாலகிராமத்தின் முழுக் கதையையும், மேலும் மகேஸ்வரன் எவ்வாறு தோன்றி லிங்கரூபத்தை அடைந்தார் என்பதையும் அனைத்தும் உரைத்தேன்।
