paṃcamo vāsudevākhyaḥ ṣaṣṭhaḥ pradyumnasaṃjñakaḥ | saptamo viṣṇuruktaścāṣṭamo mādhava eva ca

Translation

ஐந்தாவது வாசுதேவன் என அழைக்கப்படுகிறான்; ஆறாவது பிரத்யும்னன் எனப் பெயர்பெற்றவன்; ஏழாவது விஷ்ணு என உரைக்கப்படுகிறான்; எட்டாவது நிச்சயமாக மாதவன்.
