हृत्कण्ठ तालुगाभिश्च यथावर्णं द्विजातयः । शुध्येरन्स्त्री च शूद्रश्च सकृत्स्पृष्टाभिरंततः

Transliteration

hṛtkaṇṭha tālugābhiśca yathāvarṇaṃ dvijātayaḥ | śudhyeranstrī ca śūdraśca sakṛtspṛṣṭābhiraṃtataḥ

Translation

இதயம், தொண்டை, அண்ணம் ஆகியவற்றைத் தொடும் தூய்மையளிக்கும் நீரால் இருபிறப்பினர் தத்தம் ஒழுக்கப்படி சுத்தமடைகிறார்கள்; பெண்களும் சூத்ரர்களும் கூட அந்த நீர் ஒருமுறை தொடுதலாலேயே முழுமையாகத் தூய்மையடைகிறார்கள்।
