सूत उवाच । शृणुध्वं मुनयः सर्वे चातुर्मास्यव्रतोद्भवम् । माहात्म्यं विस्तरेणैव कथयिष्यामि वोऽग्रतः
sūta uvāca | śṛṇudhvaṃ munayaḥ sarve cāturmāsyavratodbhavam | māhātmyaṃ vistareṇaiva kathayiṣyāmi vo'grataḥ
சூதர் கூறினார்—முனிவர்களே அனைவரும், சாத்துர்மாஸ்ய விரதத்தின் தோற்றத்தை கேளுங்கள். அதன் மஹாத்மியத்தை உங்கள் முன்னே விரிவாக உரைப்பேன்.
