शक्र तुष्टोऽस्मि भद्रं ते वरं वरय सुव्रत । व्रतेनानेन चीर्णेन चातुर्मास्योद्भवेन च । तस्मात्प्रार्थय देवेन्द्र नित्यं यन्मनसि स्थितम्
śakra tuṣṭo'smi bhadraṃ te varaṃ varaya suvrata | vratenānena cīrṇena cāturmāsyodbhavena ca | tasmātprārthaya devendra nityaṃ yanmanasi sthitam
ஓ சக்ரா, உனக்கு நலம் உண்டாக; நான் திருப்தியடைந்தேன். ஓ உறுதியான விரதத்தோனே, வரம் கேள். சாத்துர்மாஸ்ய காலத்தில் தோன்றிய இந்த விரதத்தை நீ நிறைவேற்றினாய்; ஆகவே, ஓ தேவேந்திரா, எப்போதும் உன் மனத்தில் நிலைத்திருப்பதையே வேண்டு.
