सांकृतिरुवाच । अनृतं नोक्तपूर्वं मे स्वैरेष्वपि पितामह । ज्ञायते देवदेवेश तत्कथं तत्करोम्यहम्
sāṃkṛtiruvāca | anṛtaṃ noktapūrvaṃ me svaireṣvapi pitāmaha | jñāyate devadeveśa tatkathaṃ tatkaromyaham
சாங்க்ருதி கூறினார்—பிதாமஹா, நான் முன்பு ஒருபோதும் பொய் சொல்லவில்லை; கவனக்குறைவான வேளையிலும் அல்ல. தேவர்களின் தேவேசன் அனைத்தும் அறிந்திருக்க, நான் அதை (அசத்தியத்தை) எவ்வாறு செய்வேன்?
