संपूजयसि चौर्येण तेन प्राणान्हराम्यहम् । एवमुक्त्वाथ खड्गेन तं जघान स दैत्यपः

Transliteration

saṃpūjayasi cauryeṇa tena prāṇānharāmyaham | evamuktvātha khaḍgena taṃ jaghāna sa daityapaḥ

Translation

'நீ திருட்டுத்தனமாக வழிபடுகிறாய்; ஆகையால் நான் உன் உயிரைப் பறிப்பேன்.' என்று கூறி, அந்த அசுர மன்னன் வாளால் அவனை வெட்டினான்.
