इह लोके परे चैव पितॄणां च प्रसादतः । किं पुनर्विविधैरन्नै रसैर्वस्त्रैः सदक्षिणैः

Transliteration

iha loke pare caiva pitṝṇāṃ ca prasādataḥ | kiṃ punarvividhairannai rasairvastraiḥ sadakṣiṇaiḥ

Translation

பித்ருக்களின் அருளால் இவ்வுலகிலும் மறுவுலகிலும் நன்மை கிடைக்கும்; அப்படியிருக்க, பலவகை அன்னம், சுவைமிக்க உணவு, ஆடை, உரிய தக்ஷிணையுடன் செய்தால் பலன் எவ்வளவு பெருகும்!
