सूत उवाच । समुद्रस्यापि पारोऽत्र लक्ष्यते च क्षितेरपि । तारकाणां मुनेस्तस्य न गुणानां द्विजोत्तमाः
sūta uvāca | samudrasyāpi pāro'tra lakṣyate ca kṣiterapi | tārakāṇāṃ munestasya na guṇānāṃ dvijottamāḥ
சூதர் கூறினார்—ஓ இருபிறப்பினருள் சிறந்தோர்களே, இங்கே கடலின் அப்பால் கரையும், பூமியின் எல்லையும் காணலாம்; ஆனால் நட்சத்திரங்களையும் மிஞ்சும் அந்த முனிவரின் குணங்களை அளவிட இயலாது.
