सर्वैरेष शिशुः प्रोक्तो दीर्घा युरिति सादरम् । तृतीयेऽह्नि पुनः प्राणांस्त्यक्ष्यत्ययमसंशयः
sarvaireṣa śiśuḥ prokto dīrghā yuriti sādaram | tṛtīye'hni punaḥ prāṇāṃstyakṣyatyayamasaṃśayaḥ
நீங்கள் அனைவரும் அன்புடன் இந்தக் குழந்தையை ‘நீண்ட ஆயுளுடையவன்’ என்று கூறினீர்கள்; ஆனால் இன்றிலிருந்து மூன்றாம் நாளில் இவன் நிச்சயமாக உயிரை விடுவான்.
